Four years in

You ever have one of those days where you just feel like crap?  Like you woke up, and took one look at your face, and wondered why it had to be plastered to your face?  Ignore that that makes little sense.  But there ya go.  Sometimes you wake up, and feel like THE UGLIEST WORST OH MY GOD LET ME HIDE.

So, I'm just going to post two pictures from our wedding that was four years ago today to make me feel better.  I felt pretty that day.  What else is a blog for but for primping a little, mirror-like, particularly when the real mirror is a jerk?

There there.  That's better.  Life is good.  I have a husband who's pretty awesome.  The past four years have been a whirlwind of life happening, and so far, we've come out relatively whole (if not sane).  Very whole, in fact.  Today my face feels like ugly town decided to spring up, but that's just today.  Big-picture-wise, I couldn't ask for more.

    1. Aw thanks. It's just one of those days. He literally brought me flowers, and then I accidentally sat on them after turning around from where I put them on a chair. O__O Apparently today is just bound and determined to make me feel like a mess of a human! :P

  2. Love those photos! So cool to see what you looked like with long hair (and that wood-nymph crown is to die for). The good news is, tomorrow will roll around soon enough! Curse the mirror for its lies, and best of luck for a better weekend :-)

    1. I had long hair for so long, to me the short hair still is a little weird (even though it's been short for about 3 years)! (I can credit WhichGoose on Etsy for the crown -- https://www.etsy.com/shop/whichgoose -- her stuff is gorgeous.)

  3. Beautiful! I love how much joy just radiates from those pictures and I'm sorry today (yesterday?) isn't like that too. It will pass and you'll see the beauty again another day. Happy Anniversary!

Can I ask about the tattoo on your arm? Looks Elvish...

    1. Thank you! :) My tattoo is Elvish/Tengwar, yep. Technically, randir, aka wanderer/pilgrim (hence, Mithrandir's name). LOTR means a lot to me.
